Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, butter, powdered sugar, and salt until crumbly.
  3. Add egg yolk and mix until dough forms.
  4. Press the dough into tart pans and bake for 15 minutes.
  5. In a saucepan, whisk together cream, sugar, and cornstarch.
  6. Gradually add milk and cook over medium heat until thickened.
  7. Stir in vanilla extract and let cool.
  8. Fill the cooled tart shells with the vanilla custard.
  9. Top with fresh raspberries before serving.

Notes

  • Make sure to let the custard cool completely before filling the tarts.
