Description
Meatball Lasagna Roll-Ups are a delicious twist on traditional lasagna, featuring rolled pasta filled with meatballs and cheese, baked in marinara sauce.

- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Take a lasagna noodle, place a portion of the meat mixture on it, and roll it up.
- Place the rolled noodle seam-side down in the baking dish.
- Repeat with remaining noodles and meat mixture.
- Pour remaining marinara sauce over the roll-ups and sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms to the meat mixture for added nutrition.
- These roll-ups can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the meat mixture.
